We Praise Our Lord Jesus Christ for many reasons and in many ways! He created us! He loves us! He saved us! He has given us eternal life with Him!
WorshipWorship is many things; but at its core, it is the expression of the attitudes of our hearts towards God. It is how we tell Him we love Him. Praising Him in music and song is one way we express that love. As King David danced and sang before the Lord in rejoicing, it can be one of the sincerest expressions of our selves.
Our PurposeOur purpose as a praise team is to usher the people of God into His presence so that as a body we may worship Him with all of our heart, soul, strength, and mind. We are not a performance band. We are not here to provide nice music for the listening enjoyment of man, but to lead the family of God in expressing their love of God to Him.
Our MusicOur music is a blend of the old and the new. We love to do the exciting, upbeat songs of today, and then blend that right into a great hymn from yesterday. Both have value, and both are enjoyed by the Family here at SPBC. |

| Our praise team is a year long weekly committment. We currently practice each week on Thursday evenings for an hour and a half and then again on Sunday morning before the service. Praise team is open in January of each year for new members to join. If you are interested in joining the praise team, please see Arnold Twitchell, Faye Knowlton, or Pastor Kevin. Please pray for our team as they prepare each week. |
