Welcome to South Paris Baptist Church's website! Here is a little information about our church family:
We are a loving multi-generational church family that is built on the solid foundation of our Lord's life-giving Gospel. We gather together to worship the Triune God every Sunday morning.
- We have Sunday School at 9:00am. We currently have two Children's Sunday School Classes and one Adult/Youth Sunday School Class. Please note that the Adult/Youth Class meets year-round, whereas the Children's Classes take a break during the summer (June, July, and August).
- Our Worship Service starts at 10:00am and goes until about 11:30am. Our service includes prayer, Scripture reading, singing, and preaching. A staffed nursery for children under age 3 is available for the little ones during the worship service. Dress comfortably, no special attire required.
- Every Sunday we offer Kingdom Kids from 10:30-11:30am for children ages 3-6. These children attend the first part of the Worship Service, and then around 10:30am are dismissed to Kingdom Kids for a time of age-appropriate instruction, crafts, songs, and other activities. NOTE: Kingdom Kids is not meeting on the following Sundays: July 5, August, 2, and August 9.
- On the first Sunday of the month, we also offer Kids Connect from 10:30-11:30am for children ages 7-11. These children attend the first part of the Worship Service, and then around 10:30am are dismissed to Kids Connect for a time of age-appropriate instruction. NOTE: Kids Connect is not meeting on the following Sundays: July 5 and August 2.
Of course, congregational life involves many other things that happen throughout the week. There are a number of small groups of people who gather together for fellowship, Bible Study, and prayer, as well as to use their gifts to build up and bless the body of Christ.
Our desire is to be a family of believers who are following Jesus together and participating in His mission.
