Pastor Brian Wilbur
Brian, originally from Upstate New York, is married to Charlotta and they have three children. Brian's parents became Christians when he was a young boy, and years later Brian entrusted himself to the Lord Jesus Christ when he was eighteen. After high school, he attended college and seminary, graduating from Cedarville College (Cedarville, Ohio) in 1999 and from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Louisville, Kentucky) in 2002. He then gained significant experience as an at-large preacher and teacher in Upstate New York before entering pastoral ministry in 2008. Following two short seasons of ministry in Arlington, Virginia and Verona Beach, New York, Brian served in ministry at Durkeetown Baptist Church (Fort Edward, New York) for over five years, 2012-2017. During this time he co-planted OneLife Community Church located in Glens Falls, New York and co-founded Gospel Advance centered in Clifton Park, New York. Gospel Advance is a regional ministry devoted to helping churches train leaders. In 2016-2017 the Lord redirected Brian and Charlotta into a new season of ministry, culminating with their move to the Oxford Hills in late 2017 as Brian assumed the pastorate at South Paris Baptist Church.
